PostAxis has a remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. Connect it to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, Gemini, Grok or your own agent and ask it to write, schedule and publish posts to your connected X, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads, Facebook Page and Telegram accounts. MCP is included in every PostAxis subscription.
Server URL
https://postaxis.io/api/mcpTransport: Streamable HTTP (stateless). Connect your social accounts in the PostAxis dashboard first.
Sign-in
- OAuth (recommended, every plan): your AI app opens the PostAxis sign-in page; you approve access once. Supported by Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Gemini CLI and most MCP clients.
- API key (API add-on): for clients without OAuth, send
Authorization: Bearer px_live_…, or append?key=px_live_…to the URL for clients that only take a URL (Grok). API-key access covers your own workspaces and accounts.
Set up your client
Claude (web, desktop, mobile): Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector → paste the server URL → Connect → sign in to PostAxis and approve.
Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http postaxis https://postaxis.io/api/mcpThen run /mcp, choose postaxis and sign in.
ChatGPT: Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced → turn on Developer mode → create a connector with the server URL and OAuth.
Cursor, Windsurf, Hermes and other config-based clients:
{
"mcpServers": {
"postaxis": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://postaxis.io/api/mcp"
}
}
}Codex: codex mcp add postaxis --url https://postaxis.io/api/mcp, then codex mcp login postaxis.
Gemini CLI: add {"mcpServers":{"postaxis":{"httpUrl":"https://postaxis.io/api/mcp"}}} to ~/.gemini/settings.json, then /mcp auth postaxis.
Grok: add a connector with https://postaxis.io/api/mcp?key=YOUR_API_KEY. Treat that URL like a password.
stdio-only clients: bridge with npx mcp-remote https://postaxis.io/api/mcp.
Step-by-step guides for each client are in the dashboard under Settings → API keys → Connect an AI agent.

Things to try
- “List my PostAxis accounts.”
- “Post ‘hello from my agent’ to my connected accounts tomorrow at 9am Asia/Tashkent.”
- “Plan 30 days of posts about our launch for X and LinkedIn, show me the plan, then schedule it.”
- “Turn this blog post into a LinkedIn post and a 280-character X post and schedule both for Monday 10:00.”
Rules and limits
- Captions longer than a platform allows are rejected rather than cut off; the agent is told the limit to fix it.
- Times need a timezone (or a UTC offset); posts can be scheduled from 1 minute to 366 days ahead.
- Up to 300 new posts per account per 24 hours and 50 posts per bulk call.
- Only draft and scheduled posts can be edited or deleted; posts that are publishing or published can't.
Privacy and revoking access
Connected agents act only on workspaces and accounts you can access in PostAxis, using your permissions. PostAxis does not see your conversations with the AI app. Disconnect any agent at any time in Settings → API keys → Connected agents (API keys can be revoked on the same page). Details are in our Privacy Policy.
