PostAxis stores account information and social connection data so you can schedule and publish content. This page explains how to remove connected social accounts yourself, and how to request deletion of your entire PostAxis account and related data.
1. Disconnect a social account
You can remove any connected platform (such as Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, or Telegram) at any time from your dashboard:
- Sign in at app.postaxis.io.
- Open Connections (
/accounts). - Find the connected account chip for that platform and click the X on the chip to disconnect it.
Disconnecting deletes that connection from PostAxis (including OAuth tokens stored for publishing). PostAxis will no longer be able to post to that account. Your posts and profile on the social platform itself are not deleted by this action — only the link between PostAxis and that account.
On a shared team workspace, only team owners and admins can connect or disconnect accounts.
2. Delete your entire PostAxis account
If you want your full PostAxis account removed — including your profile, connected social tokens, posts and media we store, team memberships where applicable, and related account data — send a deletion request by email:
Please include:
- The email address on your PostAxis account
- A clear request to delete your PostAxis account and associated data
We will verify the request and delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to keep certain records (for example billing history).
3. Revoke access on the platform side (optional)
After disconnecting in PostAxis, you may also revoke PostAxis from the social platform's own security or apps settings (for example Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites, or Google account permissions for YouTube). That removes PostAxis's authorization on that provider independently of PostAxis.
